रिक्तियाँ (अधिसूचना के अनुसार): 60 in all: 40 General cadre, 10 DEPR and 10 DSIM (24 GEN/UR, 6 EWS, 14 OBC, 11 SC, 5 ST). PwBD posts are included in these totals. EWS vacancies are tentative.

- Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DEPR Cadre: 10
- Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) – DSIM Cadre: 10 (you can apply for either DEPR or DSIM, not both)
- Pay scale ₹78,450-4,050(9)-1,14,900-EB-4,050(2)-1,23,000-4,650(4)-1,41,600 (16 years); starting basic pay ₹78,450 per month
आवेदन शुल्क: ₹850 + 18% GST (GEN/OBC/EWS, fee including intimation charges); ₹100 + 18% GST (SC/ST/PwBD, intimation charges only)
शुल्क छूट (अधिसूचना के अनुसार): RBI staff candidates pay nothing (staff status is verified at the interview). The fee is not refundable, and bank charges are paid by the candidate.

आयु सीमा (अधिसूचना के अनुसार): 21 years to below 30 years (born not earlier than 2 April 1996 and not later than 1 April 2005)

- General cadre: graduation in any discipline with at least 60% in aggregate, or post-graduation in any discipline with at least 55% (SC/ST/PwBD: 50% for graduation, pass marks for post-graduation, where posts are reserved for them)
- DEPR cadre: MA/MSc in Economics (or a course where Economics is the main part, such as Quantitative Economics), or MA/MSc in Finance (or a course where Finance is the main part), with at least 55% (SC/ST/PwBD: 50% where posts are reserved)
- DSIM cadre: Master's degree with at least 55% in Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Informatics or a related field, or in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics or a related field; or a four-year Bachelor's degree in these fields with at least 60% (SC/ST/PwBD: 50% where posts are reserved)
- Graduation must be a course of at least 3 years after Class XII, and post-graduation at least 2 years after graduation; marks are counted over the whole course
- Qualifications are counted as on 1 April 2026
