- Vacancies by category: UR 4984, OBC 2936, EWS 1220, SC 1483, ST 895.
- Candidates eligible for both MTS age groups were considered first in the 18-25 years group.
- Horizontal categories (ESM, OH, HH, VH, PwD-Others) show the last selected candidate of that category; their vacancies are also counted in the vertical categories (UR, OBC, EWS, SC, ST).
- "*" candidates selected against horizontal vacancies; "**" a candidate selected against a UR vacancy. A "-" means no candidate was selected or no marks were printed for that row.
- Ties in Session-II marks are broken by the rules in para 19 of the notice (the write-up prints the General Awareness and Session-I marks used).
- Horizontal categories (ESM, OH, HH, VH, PwD-Others) are in the official write-up.

Frequently asked questions
Which marks decide the SSC MTS merit list?
Only normalised Session-II marks, after you qualify Session-I. Cut-offs are category-wise and state/UT-wise.
How are ties broken in SSC MTS?
By Session-II General Awareness marks, then Session-I normalised marks, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.
