CBSE Superintendent & Junior Assistant Notification 2024: Recruitment, Vacancy, Dates, Fee and How to Apply

Vacancies: Superintendent 142 (SC 21, ST 10, OBC-NCL 38, EWS 14, UR 59; PwBD 6) and Junior Assistant 70 (SC 9, ST 9, OBC-NCL 34, EWS 13, UR 5; PwBD 2, ESM 7). Vacancies are provisional and may change.

• Superintendent (Post code 10/24) – Group B, Pay Level 6
• Junior Assistant (Post code 11/24) – Group C, Pay Level 2

• Superintendent PwBD (6): blindness/low vision 2, deaf/hard of hearing 1, locomotor and related disabilities 2, SLD/mental illness 1.
• Junior Assistant PwBD (2): locomotor and related disabilities 1, SLD/autism/mental illness 1.

Age limit: Superintendent: maximum 30 years. Junior Assistant: 18 to 27 years. Minimum age 18. (as on 31 January 2025).

• Superintendent: bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent, plus working knowledge of computer applications (Windows, MS Office, large databases, Internet)
• Junior Assistant: 12th class or equivalent from a recognised board or university
• Both posts: typing speed 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (10,500 / 9,000 KDPH), qualifying only
• Qualifications must be held at the time of applying; final-year candidates or those awaiting results should not apply

₹800 per post (UR/OBC/EWS), paid online only

SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, women and departmental candidates pay nothing.

1. Tier-1: MCQ screening on OMR (both posts)
2. Tier-2: objective (OMR) + descriptive written exam (Superintendent only)
3. Skill test (qualifying)
4. Typing test (mandatory, qualifying)

   Apply online only

   Apply on cbse.gov.in; for this notice the window was 2 to 31 January 2025. Applications by post, hand or email are rejected.

   Pay the fee

   UR, OBC and EWS candidates pay ₹800 per post online. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, women and departmental candidates pay nothing. A failed payment means the application is rejected.

   One application per post

   Multiple applications for the same post are rejected. You can apply for both posts if eligible, paying the fee separately for each.

   Print and keep

   Print the e-receipt and application form. Admit cards are issued only online.
