SSC JHT (Combined Hindi Translators) eligibility summary
Age limit: 18 to 30 years (born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2008) (as on 1 August 2026).
- JTO / JHT / JT (posts A to C): Master's degree from a recognised university in Hindi or English (or another subject with Hindi and English as medium or compulsory/elective subjects, as specified), plus a recognised diploma/certificate in Hindi-English translation or two years' translation experience in a Central/State Government office including Government of India undertakings
- SHT / ST / STO (post D): the same Master's degree, plus a recognised diploma/certificate in translation or three years' translation experience in such offices
- Qualifications are counted as on 1 August 2026
