- TGT (Computer Science): BCA, or graduation with Computer Science in all years, or B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT), or graduation with DOEACC 'A' level
- Domestic Science Teacher: Bachelor's in Domestic/Home Science and B.Ed. with Domestic/Home Science as a teaching subject
- Special Educator (Primary): 12th pass with a two-year D.Ed. Special Education or a one-year Diploma in Special Education, or other routes listed in the advertisement
- Junior Scientific Assistant (Biology): Master's degree in a listed life-science subject, or B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology; other JSA disciplines have their own subjects

₹100. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen are exempt (Ex-Servicemen already re-employed on a regular civil post are not). Fee is paid only through SBI e-pay and is not refunded.

DSSSB age limit and qualification
Age, qualification and experience are all counted on the closing date, 15 July 2026. Each post has its own age limit from its Recruitment Rules.
- TGT (Computer Science): BCA; or graduation with Computer Science as a main subject in all years; or B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT; or graduation in any subject with the DOEACC 'A' level course.
- Domestic Science Teacher: Bachelor's degree in Domestic Science / Home Science, and B.Ed. with Domestic / Home Science as a teaching subject.
- Special Educator (Primary): 12th pass with a two-year D.Ed. Special Education, or 12th pass with a one-year Diploma in Special Education, or the other routes listed in the advertisement.
- I.T. Assistant Grade-A: 12th pass and a typing speed of at least 8,000 key depressions per hour, plus the other conditions printed for the post.
- Junior Scientific Assistant (Biology): Master's degree in a listed life-science subject (Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Forensic Science with Zoology/Botany and others), or B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology.
