Frequently asked questions

Is the age limit the same for every category?

No. The limits in the table are the general limits. SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and some other groups get upper age relaxation as listed in each notice; open an exam's age-limit page for its table.

On which date is my age counted?

Each notice fixes a date (shown in the table). Your age on that date must be within the limit, not your age on the day you apply.
