SSC JE Salary 2026: Pay Level, Pay Scale and Post-wise Pay
SSC JE pay: All posts: Group 'B', Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400), as per the official notice published 2 September 2026. Allowances are paid on top of basic pay.

SSC JE salary and post classification
Every post in this examination is Group 'B' in Pay Level-6 of the 7th Pay Commission matrix, which runs from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 basic pay. Allowances are paid on top at central government rates; the notice does not print an in-hand figure, so none is shown here.
Selected candidates are on probation for two years and the posts carry All India Service Liability, so you can be posted anywhere in India. The user department may allot you a state, UT or zone and may require you to learn the local language before confirmation.
